The September issue of Rhode Island Monthly includes a list of fifty Rhode Island schools with statistics of their academic performance and instructional spending. Below are ten local schools with populations that are equivalent to that of Cumberland High School. School performance ratings include: H.P. for High Performing, these schools have met 2011 score objectives, M.P. for Moderately Performing, these schools met the 2005-2006 projected targets for index scores and graduation rate and I.P. for Insufficient Progress, these schools failed to meet 2005-2006 targets.
